When the house is quiet this is usually where you can find Sophia. This is the basket that we keep all the blankets in, she loves it.

Randomness
Excuse the faucet nose in a majority of these photos, poor bebe g was sick this past week with croup (4th time if anyone is keeping track) but these are just too funny not to post.
Bluebonnets!
So we almost missed the bluebonnets with all the sickness going on and being out of town but we were able to grab some quick shots this past weekend. The fields were not as full but gosh darn it we sure did get some cute pictures of our sweet girl! She loved them and was a total ham for one picture after another.

School Pictures
Last week Sophia had school pictures and we of course wanted to snap a few photos before she went. School pictures can be hit or miss but the ones she took last fall were adorable, so I am hoping these are too. Eric was quick to let me know that we did not need to order any more photos that we have plenty, I told him I can't help it she is so photogenic. :) Thanks to the Potter's for the super cute outfit!

She loves this chair!
Easter 2009
Ok so only two weeks late, not too bad huh? :) Man I suck at this blogging thing, but I am trying to get better. As much as I love taking pictures it always seems such a pain to upload.
Easter weekend was a whirlwind and we were busy, busy, busy. After swim lessons that Saturday we left for Nacogdoches. I think we were there less than 24 hours but it was great to see Lolli and Pops plus all the other Muckleroy's. As you can tell from the photos Miss thing was in a mood and wanted nothing to do with fancy pictures, but she loved her Easter baskets. Poor thing has been teething for over month and we are praying for some relief soon.

Our new favorite thing of ripping all bows out of our hair! She still looks so adorable!

Update
Sophia's 1 year appointment was last week and she is a growing machine.
Stats
Weight - 21.6 lbs (50th%)
Height - 30 in (75th%)
Head - I can't remember but it was tiny. I think we are finally up to like the 15% for her head.
So a few updates on miss thang! We started this last weekend operation sippy cup and it was a success. She is fully on sippy cups with milk and just has the one bottle at night. We were very fortunate in that it was a really easy transition, she had pretty much weaned herself a couple weeks ago when she started refusing bottles. I could just tell she was done with them so we slowly started then. So life is much easier for mom and dad not standing over the sink every night washing out bottles. I did have to run out and buy more sippy cups though because in the beginning we were going through them like crazy, but I think we have a good system and routine down now so hopefully it will cut back on the usage and me doing dishes..... heee! :)
Here are some other highlights:
* She has been taking multiple steps for a couple weeks now, stands on her own, etc but she is not full on walking. She will walk 12 or so steps, then get lazy drop and crawl. She is a speed crawler that is for sure which is why I think she just prefers that method, who knows! Hopefully she will be walking in no time!
* She loves all table food but by far her favorite is anything with cheese. She is definitely our child!
* A new word to her vocabulary is "duck" she said it perfectly clear last night as we were getting her ready for bed. She was holding her little toy duck and nomin away on it when she said it. We repeated it to her several times and each time she said it back. It is so cool to watch her brain working and trying to figure things out. The other night she figured out how to climb into her chair and back off, each time she would clap and we of course had to clap with her. She is such a little performer..... hmm no clue where she gets that from.
* Monday April 20th she moves to the toddler room, she has definitely outgrown the Infant 2 room and I think she is wearing the teachers out. I can't wait to see how they get her to take her nap on the mat, this is going to be interesting. :)
That is all the news for now, I have several videos post and will do my best to do it tonight!

Part 3 - Sophia's Party - Random
Cuteness Overload!!!!
Alert, alert this post contains mucho cuteness! We recently had Sophia's 1 year pictures taken with the very talented BluDoor Studios and they once again did amazing work. We absolutely love them all and they definitely captured Miss Diva's personality. She wanted nothing to do with her cake and was less than pleased that we were making her sit there.
Um I don't want to be "one" I want to be "on"
