Bluebonnet Pictures 2011

It is about time right? Weeks ago maybe months...who knows, but I posted two blog post and then poof they were gone. Apparently blogger had some technical difficulties of some sort and I was ticked to say the least. I have been way too swamped to try to redo them, so in order to catch up the blog post are going to real brief and tons of pictures. That is what the fam cares about most anyway. We have done so much since the Easter egg hunt and things might be a little a fuzzy so I am sure I will get out of order. Anyways enjoy the pictures and I promise more to come. :)

Easter egg hunt

The weather was absolutely perfect for our second annual Easter Egg hunt and all the kiddos were as cute as can be. I have to be honest and say I was shocked how well they all behaved. When you get a group of 3/almost three year olds together you just kind of expect there to be tantrums and fighting over eggs, but from what I saw they were all awesome. Phia even looked at me one time asking if she could take one. I was like go baby grab some eggs. It was such a great time and I just loved seeing them all dressed up!

My blue eyed beauty!

As you can tell she LOVED her dress! To her this was a princess dress and this is how princesses stand according to Phia.

They ran and ran around this one area!

Get set...go!

Checking our her loot.

Toy Story Mania

The day after Phia's party the fun continued with a trip to see Toy Story 3 on Ice on with Taylor and Amie. We always have such a blast with them and this day was no different. The girls were adorable of course doing their best to mimic each and every move of the other. They are just too stinking cute together!
To make the day even more awesome we rode the train to the AA center for the first time and we loved it! Cheap and walking to the arena was a breeze. I definitely think this is the way to travel to events down there. Okay time for pictures!

Seriously, how sweet are they?

Party on!

The Saturday after Phia's birthday was party day. We held her party at Metroplex Gymnastics this year and the kids all had a blast. I was not super thrilled with their staff, but Phia and the kids were happy and that is all that really matters.

The theme of course was minnie mouse with a little twist. The girl is obsessed with mickey/minnie so I knew we had to go with it. I however was not a huge fan of the paper products that they have for minnie so I decided to add the zebra elements. Everything pretty much went off her shirt. I ordered the shirt for our disney trip back in November but for some reason or another she never wore it so I just saved it for her party. Favors were the minnie/mickey ears that I made and minnie mouse shaped rice crispy treats. I just loved how it all came together!

Ok now for a gazillon pictures...no really there is tons.

P.S. the lighting was horrible in this place and eric was on photog duty so um yeah some pictures aren't so clear. :)

The day before the party Nonni and Pops arrived and gave Phia her gift early. This mr. potato head made its way from Disney to Nacogdoches to McKinney. So many cool pieces that you can only get at Disney World.

Where's Sophia?

Before heading to the party!

Yay we actually got a family picture!

Where is the birthday girl?

She went into shy mode.

Even the adults got into it :)

The grandparents and great grandpa. Great grandma was running around with the kiddos I think.

Our attempt at a group shot.

Shy girl kept trying to pull the hat down. Silly girl!

I think the face says it all! Fun times!
