Hey Party People

Birthday season is in full force and Sophia has been one busy party goer. They have all been such a blast and to be honest I don't know what we will do with our weekends once they are all over. Two weekends ago we attended cousin Jamie and cousin Madelyn's party at Chuck E Cheese. The girls were adorable running all over the place but Sophia was much more interested in carrying her coins and putting them in the games than actually playing. Funny kid I tell ya!

The next two were a failed attempt at a shot of all three girls.

The poor #2 candle broke, but the cake was yummy!

She looks so old in this picture. :(

Poor Jamie could not figure out how to get out.
So uncle Matt saved her

Then this past weekend we had two more parties for two sweet girls! Up first was Addy's party at a park!

Phia and Taylor...these two are never far from each other. They are too cute the way they just follow each other around.
Addy the birthday girl!
Taylor didn't want to ride so she gate Phia a push.

I am off mom!

The following day we were off to Tessa's party at Gymboree. The kids always have a blast here especially when bubbles are involved.

Little Gavin is a dancing fool and he has some awesome moves.

I love this, look how happy Addy is!

Yum cupcakes!

Catch-Up

We have been so busy lately and it is only going to get more insane in the next month and a half. Here are some random pictures of Phia from the past couple weeks.

Stretching before gymnastics! Silly girl!

I can't remember who she was talking to, but it was a pretty funny conversation.

I didn't do it, I am innocent... I promise.

She takes her drawings very seriously.

Everyone needs a little funny

So after a really long hiatus my BFF has thankfully started blogging again. She is not only an amazing writer but she is f-u-n-n-y. I consider myself one of her biggest fans and I am super excited of what the future holds for her :) As most know we are picking up and moving north and this past weekend we started the house hunting process. She has written how wonderful interesting that first experience was. Lesson has been learned... pictures are deceiving and man people know how to work a camera angle to make something horrid look amazing. So go check out her blog post and once you are done with that post keep on reading, you will not be disappointed.

Little bit of this...little bit of that

***Warning there are no pictures in this post, just a bunch of randomness about the Phia girl! :)

So I have really contemplated posting this, but this blog is her baby book seeing how her real baby book contains her name and that is it. Someday...... anyways back to the point. Oh but before I carry on I have to say that if I catch any friends or family calling Sophia this name we will have words...mkay. :) So a few months ago Sophia started referring to herself as FiFi, yeah fifi like a poodle dog. We were puzzled where she learned this and after speaking to her daycare teachers we found out that some of the kids call her this since they could not pronounce Sophia. Her teachers thought it was cute and started calling her this as well. I politely, but sternly told the teachers that her name was not Fifi and we preferred she not be called this name. For a short time Sophia would be defiant that we only call her this. Eric and I did what we thought was best and just ignored it and still do. She still calls herself fifi but just recently started saying sofi and Phia....yes finally!

I have mentioned before that my girl is a shoe lover. Well we have had a few instances lately where Sophia was coming home with either only one sock or no socks, when we know for a fact we put some on her. After a little chat with one of the teachers we found out that S likes to gather all her friends and do a shoe swap. As in she wants to try on everyone else’s shoes. This totally cracked us up and Eric then officially realized how in trouble he is.

I have to talk about Sophia's food likes/ dislikes. She loves, I mean loves avocado. If she sees any on your plate you can pretty much guarantee you will be sharing some with the girl. She is not a huge veggie eater so this is awesome to us. Good thing Sprouts had 3 avocados for a $1 last week. :) Sophia still will not eat any sort of meat except for chicken nuggets and hot dogs. I tried fooling her last night with some ground turkey meat hidden in a quesadilla...yeah that did not go over very well. We have had to learn to get creative with how we get her some protein. Other foods she loves; black beans, any and all fruit, oh and candy(she must get this from her Aunt Kate). Oh the biggest shocker to us is that she hates mac and cheese(Kraft, Velveeta, homemade) and really all pastas. Who hates Kraft mac and cheese? This just seems so wrong...I mean all kids love mac and cheese. Oh well guess that just means more for mom and dad :)

Lazy Day

This girl loves her daddy, and loves nothing more than to play in her playroom with him. Bonus for Phia if he plays along and puts on her glass slippers and bows. Last Sunday we chilled at home and just enjoyed each other and the beautiful sun shining in the house.

By far my favorite picture of Eric!

Miss bossy

Such a sweet little mommy

Yeah no retouching was done on her eyes, they are truly that blue!
