Potty Time

So it happened, my little big girl went poo poo in the potty at daycare. I can't even tell you how proud I was, I immediately called Eric who was out with the guys by the way and I could totally hear the excitement in his voice. He knew just as well as I did that this was HUGE. I am gonna be honest here and say that I was shocked no more like floored that this happened. See we do not even own a potty at home, it was one of those things where I kept saying I would buy one and then just shrug it off. She has been telling us for a while when she goes in her diaper but I never really thought more of it. I think my problem is that buying a potty and starting the process meant my baby was really no longer a baby. Diapers are my last thing to hold onto and as crazy as it sounds I am not ready to let go. I know she will always be by baby no mater how big she gets but still this is hard to admit that she is really becoming a little girl.

***I started writing this post on Wednesday night well yesterday she went again at daycare and even told Miss Sarah first that she had to go poo poo. Daddy is picking this up on is way home today...Merry Christmas Phia. Haha just jokes!

Puppy Love

So after my tantrum post I had to post some pictures of our sweet girl being her happy, little snuggle bug self. Sophia has been too precious for words with her sweet kisses and snuggles lately. Without even asking for a kiss or hug she will often times just walk up and give ya one or like last night when I was singing to her before putting her to bed she looked up at me and gave me a kiss. Man talk about melt your heart...she is even saying her own version of Love you, it comes out more like wub you, but we know what she is saying.

No more pictures mom, we have several versions of these from over the past 20 months. Yeah Phia is 20 months, how in the world did that happen.
This might just be my new favorite picture, I just love her expression :)

Da Bears

In our house we support two teams unless they play each other and then it is all COWBOYS baby! Great Grandma McGlaughin bought Sophia a jersey to show her spirit and she was just looking to cute until...well I don't remember what set off her little meltdown but Eric and I could not stop laughing so of course I had to post those pictures too. We have a little drama queen on our hands so the tantrums happen quite often. We do our best to ignore them and walk away but there are times when they will start to drive you crazy. To save our sanity we try to find the humor in them and laugh them off...this might even involve Eric throwing his own fake tantrum to show Phia how silly she looks. :)
